#2 resonates. #1 seems generic. There's always the conundrum of whether the fellowship makes a person more active or if active people who will do this work anyway (whether they had a fellowship or not) pursue fellowships. Refining the first question would be important.

One area we are really interested in is also a specific sector i.e. health, so specific to society within health systems. Definitely want to understand societal contributions; interested, would this research look at any specific sectors?
